Hikers

We welcome Appalachian Trail Hikers to Laurel Fork Lodge.

In the Appalachian Mountains of Northeast Tennessee, Laurel Fork Lodge is 0.3 mile east of the white blaze of the Appalachian Trailhead, and only a few feet from the Blue Blaze (USFS50). Thru and Section hikers, come and find an assortment of available services. We offer the many services to our hiking guests. Remember to restock your supplies here before returning to the trail. We accept and hold bounce boxes and other postal items. Free dial up internet access is available in the store.

Hiker Housing:

Private Hillhouse Bedroom ($55) Private Bedroom in the Hillhouse has two double beds. Common areas are two baths with shower(s), flush toilet(s) and sink(s), great room, dining room, full kitchen, large deck, and washer & dryer. (2 guests, each additional up to 4 guests pays $12.00 each)

Private Rustic Cabin ($25) includes Bath house (flush toilet/sink/hot shower).

Hostel-style bunk in rustic cabin ($12) includes common bath house (flush toilets/sinks/hot showers).

Bunkhouse Bunk ($6) includes common bath house (flush toilets/sinks/hot showers) only.

Tent Sites ($3) includes Common Bath house (flush toilets/sinks/hot showers) only.

Our Hiker Kitchen open to all hikers. Pictured below is the Hiker Bunkhouse.

Other Services Available: Free Internet access, pay phone, bounce box and mail drop. Also laundry($2.50 per load) , hiker fuel, and some food supplies for sale in the store.
