Family Vacation
F
or a memorable family vacation, settle in at the
lodge. Hike or fish nearby or visit the many tourist attractions within
easy driving distance.Our accommodations
will provide for whatever level of comfort you need
- House, cabin or camping.
There are numerous campsites, either
along the melodious waters of Laurel Fork, in a more secluded area by the
spring, or near the pasture, where there are hook-ups for RV’s.
(Caution: Only RV’s up to
25 feet in length can cross the bridge into Laurel Fork Lodge.)
Some parents stay at the Laurel Fork
Lodge while their children are at area camps or visiting colleges.
Some families come to spend time with
their relatives who are hiking the Appalachian Trail and stay over at Laurel
Fork for a few days.
Using
all of our accommodations (except the hiker bunkhouse), Laurel Fork Lodge can
sleep over 60 people. For a
reunion of family or friends, you could rent as many cabins as required.
There is a lot of room for outdoor picnics.
The Conference Center could be rented for large indoor meals in the
event of rain. Volleyball and
other outdoor sports can be set up near the Conference Center.
Children love to play in the creek.
Pets are welcome, so long as they are well behaved and you clean up after them.
